“Our father is 96 and moved into Rawhiti Estate around 6 months ago. We would just like to make a few personal observations about Rawhiti and the care that our father has received since he moved there. Firstly, the staff there are great, helpful, friendly and always with a smile, nothing is too much of a problem. The management are always striving to introduce new initiatives and continually discuss these with residents and their families looking for constructive input into improving the daily life of its residents.
The medical care our father receives is of a high standard and we are kept well informed of our father’s ongoing wellbeing. Family members are welcome to visit at any time of the day. We have found the meals and menu options to be healthy, varied and well presented.
Entertainment and the personal involvement of the residents in daily activities is a prime drive of Rawhiti – as well as weekly outings, exercise sessions, games, cooking classes etc, the organising of interactive onsite visits by school children and other youth groups is much appreciated by the residents, visitors and the children who attend.
